This week we pray for the homeless.
For those who have no home to warm up in these icy days but also for those who are homeless in the spirit. Since childhood people seek for home and need a home, it is important to have a place that we can call "home". However, the reality is that for the majority those "homes" do not exist, especially in broken families. So they drag themselves from day to day restless and weary. It is a miserable and agonizing hole in the hearts of the people. That's why we can be so amazingly grateful, for the Lord is our home, that we can find rest in Him anytime and anywhere. What an amazing treasure that Jesus gave us access to by His precious blood! Let us thank Him for giving us an eternal home, best home the world could not even give and pray for those who do not have a place that they can call "home". So Father God in Jesus name I pray for those who are homeless, Lord. Father, especially in these freezing days they seek for warmth more than ever. They may search it in alcohol or drugs, train stations or under bridges, but what misery, Father, no rest for the body, trembling, how must their soul be like? Jesus have mercy, oh Lord... I know You are able to do something, Lord... I saw how You led wandering people ending up in churches. And even if they would die soon You would touch them before and save them, giving them great warmth. Lord, You know the ways to save. You see situations, chances to save. Expand those situations and chances, Lord and save save save! Don't go past them, Jesus... Just as miserable are those who have a roof but still are homeless in their heart, Lord. Oh God, we people need a home, Lord! You know this best, You created us. We were cast out from our home because of our sins even though we were meant to live there forever with You. But thank Jesus He gave us access to that home back. Father I pray for those who are homeless in their heart... what misery... I know that misery, Lord... and You are the only one who can ease these hearts, Jesus... Christians are not exceptions, Lord... Some of us know, see, heard of and have access to our home but we don't take what is given to us. Forgive us, Lord, please open the eyes of our heart, Lord, and let us see; reveal the secrets of the world to us, Lord, let Your truth set us free and let us have rest in You. Our home is portable; our home is love; our home is full of warmth; our home is a shelter, a resting place; our home is protection; our home is full of hope; our home is built of light; our home is the spring of life; our home is our strength, our fortress; our home is surrounded by holy fire; our home is the place all of our ways end up at; our home? Our home is in You! Jesus... thank You Jesus for giving us back the keys to our homes. Please comfort the homeless, give them hope, give them rest, give them refreshment, give them love. Let them find home, Lord; lead them home, Lord, I beg on You Father... Open Your arms, Father, to the homeless, open them wide! I give You all praises for who You are, El Shaddai. Holy are You, Adonai. Full of beauty and wisdom and power and love we cannot comprehend... thank You... for everything... thank You Jesus... thank You... in Your unconditionally loving name I pray, amen.

This week we pray against suicide,
especially for S.Korea since it is the "No.1 for the 11th year in a row when it comes to suicide rate among OECD countries, according to the organization's Health Data 2015 report." Greenland and Lithuania seem to have really high suicide rate too. WE are the church of Jesus Christ and Jesus said "the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." [Matt.16:18-19] So let's go against those spirits driving people to suicide all around this world in Jesus mighty name! Let us storm the gates of hell in Jesus name! Let us pray for healing and deliverance for those people in Jesus name. And above all, pray for God may pour out His love onto them for His love is everything we ever need. New heart, new hope, new mind, new strenght, new life! Let us send His light to them into the deepest darkness through our prayers in Jesus name! |
