I stood at a place, it was white and very clean. I could feel the purity of this place. And when I was about to ask I realized it was the temple of God. I looked around and suddenly I noticed a pile of garbage, not suitable to the otherwise clean temple. Oh... "This... it was me", words came out of my mouth. "It was I, I only bring garbage into the temple of my Lord. I'm sorry God, this, it is I..." I got despaired and I wanted to cry. But then the Holy Spirit walked towards me in such a gentle way and said "Sssh, it's ok, it's fine”. He embraced me and peace came into me. "It's all good now, don't worry, look", He said and we looked at the pile of garbage that slowly turned into treasures as God waved His arm across them. "Behold, you come to me with garbage and I turn them into treasures. Take, I have given them to you, these treasures now belong to you. No garbage but treasures", and He picked some of those treasures and put them on the palm of my hands. His arm was wrapped around my shoulder and we rejoiced on these treasures. Suddenly a shadow in form of a dragon came from above and the Holy Spirit turned into Fire as He approached it. And as they clashed together the form of the Fire turned into a tiger and the form of the shadow into a wolf. And as the tiger bit the neck the wolf, fire spread out onto the wolf. The shadow screamed agonized, standing on flame. An invisible blade sliced him into half and the wolf fled out of the temple. The Fire came back to my side, back to the "original" form and we sat down and had a great time as if nothing ever happened. "I love you, Holy Spirit...", I said. "And I love you", replied my everlasting friend. Until now I never considered to look at God’s face, I still feel too unworthy for that. I only imagined His face being full of light. I also never considered to touch His face haha. But this time when I spent time with God it somehow suddenly overcame me. Do you want to know how His face FEELs like? It’s logical. It feels like love. "For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her." [zechariah2:5] During my prayer time today God showed me a vision of how He sees Him training us.
I saw an eagle flying high to the sky, on his back a baby eagle. The eagle showed his child the beauty of the world and the baby eagle enjoyed this flight so much and felt loved. Then suddenly the eagle let the baby fall. Baby was startled and confused, started to call out to his papa but there was only sky he could see. He got scared and started to try flying on his own but his wings were too weak. And he felt abadoned by his papa. He thought "this is the end" when shortly before he reached the ground. Then suddenly the eagle appeared out of nowhere and caught him. Again, the eagle took the baby on his back and flew higher to the sky. Baby recovered from shock and got happy to realize that his papa never really left him. And again the eagle showed him the beauty of his land. Then again he let him fall. Baby eagle thought "why again???". This repeated several times until I saw the eagle flying side by side with the grown up child. And they happily ranged together above the kingdom. It's like that isn't it? We come before the Lord and worship and praise Him, we enjoy the presence of the Lord, feel loved and born again/refreshed. Then hardship comes and we don't know what is going on, we can't see God and so we start to doubt his love. And when we are about to give up suddenly He appears before us with much more love and hope than before and restores us by showing His glory. And in this repeating process we learn more and more about our Father, how faithful He is, how He never took His eyes from us not even for one second, how much He loves us, how much He blesses us with so many things, how awesome our Father actually is in his creativity, wisdom, power and love! And we fall more and more in love with Him. We are being drawn nearer and nearer to His heart. And into the eternity He walks with us, into the kingdom He created in His awesomeness. Did you know that the eagle loves the storm while the other birds go and hide? He gets exited, flapps around and when he "finds the wing of the storm [he] stops flapping and uses the pressure of the raging storm to soar the clouds and glide. This gives the eagle an opportunity to rest its wings." ["The Seven Principles of an Eagle" by Reach Mentor] Isn't this amazing? God wants to bring us to that point! To the point where we will be able to rest in the storm and fly higher when storms come! Let us learn to enjoy the training God puts us into! May God bless you with His wisdom, patience and love. |
